Initiatives and guests
The Curriculum on Resilient and Secure Cyber Physical Systems commits to constantly invite Internationally renown researchers to held lessons or courses.
During the Academic Year 2017/2018, Prof. Andràs Pataricza from Budapest University of Technology and Economics held a short PhD course of 21 hours with title "Cyber-Physical Systems". Considering the topic, the lessons from Prof. Pataricza were included in the Course on Distributed and Real-Time Cyber Physical Systems (of Systems), so that Master Students could follow them.
Similarly, before the two different Curricula were born, the Master Degree in Computer Science arranged its lessons such that Students were able to participate to PhD Courses on the topic of Cyber-Physical Systems. In particular, we mention:
- Academic Year 2016/2017, Prof. Henrique Madeira, University of Coimbra. Course title: Design of experiments for resilience assessment and benchmarking. Students from the Master course "Quantitative Analysis of Systems" were involved.
- Academic Year 2015/2016, Prof. Edgar Nett, Otto-von-Guericke-University of Magdeburg. Course title: Aspects of Distributed Real-Time Computing. Students from the Master course "Critical and real-time systems" were involved.
